Hand Sculpted in the finest jewelers 14K Gold Filled Wire. Can be worn showing either side. The coin is Antique Gold and is modeled on a eight reale coin, which were sometimes cut into up to eight pieces to make change--the origin of the term "piece of eight. These shield type coins were minted from 1572 to 1734. The overall size is 2 1/2 from bottom to top of the bail and 1 1/2 inch in width. Hand-crafted by Les Horner.
